Debbie was the lucky winner of our blog competition back in June 2016. She won a precious photography package consisting of a baby photography session and a final product of a 2d hand framed impression and photograph , along with 3 digital photos to print and share as she wishes, worth £165! Debbie and Betty-Mae came to Samantha Prewett Photography , here in Poole, Dorset back at 10 weeks old. We started off her photography session by taking a few photos of her in a beautiful dress that her mummy brought to the session with her. Then we took a few more photos in my wooden crate. Then Glenda from Precious Memories arrived to take Betty's hand impression. The casting was very quick, Glenda already had the clay ready so it only took a few moments. After this we put Betty-Mae in a basket and managed to get a few more shots before the end of the session. I even managed to get a sneaky shot of mum trying to make her smile which she loves and chose as one of her inclusive images For more information on our photography and casting/impression packages please visit Glenda's Precious Memories website: www.precious-memories.co.uk

Well it has been a while since my last blog post, it has been very busy here over the summer , I have hardly had time to catch my breath, what with the kids being off school and me doing more sessions than I usually do. But the children have settled back into school now, so I have a little more time to catch up! I have been desperate to share this beautiful maternity photo session with you all, so here goes! I was very excited to see that a lovely lady who I met through networking was looking to get some maternity photographs taken, when I spoke to her she loved my natural style and we both started getting very excited about the session. So much so that she wrote a blog on maternity photo sessions and created a pinboard of ideas! She was quite apprehensive about her session at first, the idea can be quite overwhelming , especially if you are planning to have a photo session just of you and are not used to this. However, she decided to turn it into a bit of a pamper session, some me time, her friend even came over beforehand and did her hair and make up (which looked absolutely stunning) and joined us on Bournemouth beach for her maternity photo session. I think that you will agree with me when I say she completely rocked her session and looks absolutely stunning. I am so happy to have captured these special memories for her. Maternity photography sessions are best at around 32-36 weeks. There is still time this year to make the most of the beautiful sun, or if you baby is not due for several months, autumn is also a beautiful time of the year for outdoor photo sessions.
