Thank you for being here. I am super excited that you are considering choosing me as your family photographer and I would love to hear from you to start our beautiful journey of capturing memories together.
I am so lucky to live on the south coast of England in Poole, Dorset , a stones throw away from the world renowned Sandbanks beach, and just a short drive from so many other beautiful outdoor locations including Wareham forest and Hengistbury Head.
When I am not enjoying snuggling and photographing squishy little babies, my job takes me out into the beautiful surroundings that I am so fortunate to live amongst to capture stunning timeless family memories that you will want to treasure forever.

Let me tell you a little bit about my story before I begin to capture yours.
My love for photography began whilst studying at college 20 years ago, where I learnt to shoot on film (which I currently still do now as a hobby!) and my love has grown ever since then.
As a parent to two teenagers myself, I completely understand how fast your little ones change and grow and how important it is to capture these fleeting moments that are otherwise easily forgotten.
Back in January 2013 I launched Samantha Prewett Photography and my love for photography and babies has grown ever since.
I have a beautiful little photography studio at the back of my house in Oakdale, Poole.
I photograph babies for newborn photography sessions from just a few days old, right through to cake smash photoshoots their first birthday here in the studio.
I also photograph families out and about all across Dorset.
As well as being a photographer, I enjoy organising the Poole Baby Event, which is now in its 5th year. This event happens twice a year in the Dolphin Centre in Poole.
This is a fantastic FREE event for local parents to be and new parents that brings together many of Dorset's leading maternity and baby service providers for a fun day packed with free advice, free taster sessions, talks and demos.
I also organise a raffle for SPRING Support and have raised over £1000 for them to date.
Another big passion of mine is plastic and food waste.
In my spare time , I help run a local food pantry where we collect and distribute surplus food locally. I started this back in the height of covid in 2020 and I still enjoy doing it now.
Also back in 2020 I found out about Surfers against sewage's "Plastic free businesses" and I am proud to say that I achieved plastic free status in August 2020, followed by my silver award in 2024, any my GOLD plastic free award in 2025.
