A couple of weeks ago I ventured out into one of my favourite outdoor Autumn locations in Dorset to capture some beautiful natural maternity photographs for this lovely family. I don't usually book in outdoor sessions between November and March as the weather can be somewhat unpredictable. But then again we are in the UK, and even in the height of summer we don't know what to expect, so when they got in touch a few months ago to book we scheduled a date in. On the day of the session we were very lucky with the weather, it was very mild for January. We met at Wareham forest and found some fun places to stop for photographs. This lovely family were amazing during their session, and we had a lovely time and I was really excited about sharing their beautiful photographs. I can't wait to see them again really soon with their new addition. It is such a privilege to be able to capture families journeys for them. If you are looking for some beautiful natural maternity photographs, I would love to capture this special time for you. You can involve your children as you see here, or if this pregnancy marks the start of your family, I capture that for you too. If you would like to find out more you can visit the maternity photography section of my website here where you can find prices and then choose to get in touch to book in.
Well it has been a while since my last blog post, it has been very busy here over the summer , I have hardly had time to catch my breath, what with the kids being off school and me doing more sessions than I usually do. But the children have settled back into school now, so I have a little more time to catch up! I have been desperate to share this beautiful maternity photo session with you all, so here goes! I was very excited to see that a lovely lady who I met through networking was looking to get some maternity photographs taken, when I spoke to her she loved my natural style and we both started getting very excited about the session. So much so that she wrote a blog on maternity photo sessions and created a pinboard of ideas! She was quite apprehensive about her session at first, the idea can be quite overwhelming , especially if you are planning to have a photo session just of you and are not used to this. However, she decided to turn it into a bit of a pamper session, some me time, her friend even came over beforehand and did her hair and make up (which looked absolutely stunning) and joined us on Bournemouth beach for her maternity photo session. I think that you will agree with me when I say she completely rocked her session and looks absolutely stunning. I am so happy to have captured these special memories for her. Maternity photography sessions are best at around 32-36 weeks. There is still time this year to make the most of the beautiful sun, or if you baby is not due for several months, autumn is also a beautiful time of the year for outdoor photo sessions.
