If you are looking for a photographer it is lovely to be able to see their work online on their website or their social media, but how often do you get to see an example of one single session?
An online portfolio certainly gives you a feel for what to expect, but more often than not its just a select few favourite photos, not an entire sample gallery.
This is why I enjoy putting together these blogs of example sessions so that you can really know what to expect, of course not every session is the same, and you get to choose which props etc you would like, but I think that it is great to get a feel for how a full newborn photography session really looks when you book yours in with me.

This gorgeous little one was just 10 days old when he came to see me for his newborn photography session in my Poole studio. 10 days is around the "average" age for newborn photography sessions. I am more than happy to photograph any age up to 4 weeks for newborn sessions but most babies are around 1-2 weeks old. I have even had some as young as 4 days!

I am really loving the parents hands on baby images at the moment. These photos are the absolute perfect addition to your beautiful photo gallery, especially if you are not ready to be in any photos yourselves yet you can still get involved.

Newborn baby portraits

Whilst I have lots of beautiful props and outfits here in the studio, and your baby will always be the centre of each and every photo that I take, it is nice to include some photos without these, of purely your gorgeous little bundle.
