Introduction
This privacy policy provides you with details of how I collect and process your personal data when you become a client, including any information you may provide when you sign up to my email newsletter.

When you book a photography session, you need to fill out a google booking form to provide contact details; name, full postal address including postcode, email and telephone number. If you choose to join my email mailing list (anyone can do this) I will collect your name and email address.
How I use clients information
I use email/telephone to contact you to discuss your session before and afterwards. I will always use the method you first contact me with as first point of call unless it is urgent, then I will telephone you if required. I use your email address to send a link to your photo gallery. If you choose to join my email mailing list, I add you to my online mail chimp account. I use your address to post or drop off your final photographs and or products.
How I store and protect clients information
Client names and email addresses are stored on Mailchimp (if you sign up to my email newsletter) Booking forms are done via google forms and I copy this information onto a paper form for my reference. I do not have digital client data bases, only via Mailchimp. Paper booking forms which contain client data are stored in a locked box. These are kept for 7 years for tax purposes.
For the added security of email details and online conversations, my computer has a password which is required to log in, and the same for my mobile phone.
Data sharing
Client data is never shared with anyone else unless there is a legal obligation to do so or in the case of an emergency.
Marketing communications (email newsletter)
You will receive email marketing communications from me if you have chosen to join my email newsletter directly via facebook, my website, or in person at an event I have attended. If you are a client, you have the choice on your booking form to opt in to receive email marketing communications from me. I email out a newsletter once every two months, and vey occasionally in between when I have a special offer or news to share. You can un subscribe at any time by clicking a link on the email I have sent you.

Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data. These include the right to:
If you are not happy with any aspect of how I collect and use your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK supervisory authority for data protection issues (www.ico.org.uk). Please do try and contact me in the first instance if you do have a complaint so that I can try to resolve it for you.
